Happy New Year to you all.
A great turn out at the Christmas Mart.
There was lots of new faces around and of course the older ones too.
Father Christmas made an appearance (not the real one) the real one was in hospital, we wish him well.
Thank to Mr Gerry Wordsworth, conductor of Crosby Silver Band who lead the Carol singing.
The turkey donated by Mr Kenny Sloane auctioned by Mr Phil Cringle multiple times raised a total of £2800 what a great achievement and thank you to everyone for this support. This money is going to Isle of Man Breast Care and Motor Neurone Disease association IOM.
Tracey Harrison kindly donated a wooden chopping board for the above charities which raised £110
Stuart McCudden donated a pair of work boots which raised £85 for above charities
Ian Davison from Davison’s ice cream donated a Chocolate Snowman which raised £85 for above charities.

The highlight of the day was the sale of the beautifully restored1960 David Brown tractor in picture kindly donated by Derry & Trisha Kissack raised a massive £5000 for Hospice IOM and The Queens pier restoration trust both very worthy causes and all charities are here on the Isle of Man.
There was a good selection of Manx dressed Turkeys, Geese, Chickens & Ducks, all met good demand/
We look forward to the Bi Annual Machinery Sale which will be held in February / March date to be confirmed- and the Spring Cattle sales not to far away.
