The charity bird donated by Mr Kenny Sloane was auctioneed several times and realised £840. Thank to all who donated. A pair of ladies boots donated by Stuart McCudden was sold or £100 and the bucket collection raised £260. The total of £1200 is to be divided equally between IOM Breast Care and IOM Motor Neuron Disease Society.
There was some excellent dressed Turkeys selling at between £50 -£120 with Geese selling from £50-£90, Chickens £24 – £30
Potatoes @ £5 Bag and Vegetable @£6 a bag
Father Christmas (Not the real one – A helper ! ) was popular with the children and the Crosby Silver Band under the directorship of Mr Jerry Wordsworth led the Carol singing before the auction
